Stephan Miras (18 Dec 1982) is a Film and TV director/writer from Amsterdam.
In his early 20's, he started making music video's and short films, which received several awards. Later on, he started directing TV commercials, television programmes and international documentary series, allowing him to shoot in over 50 countries world wide.
Together with acclaimed filmmaker Flip van der Kuil, Stephan Miras has created, written and directed several comedy series like RWINA and De Pudding Club (Amazon Prime), Random Shit and Barrie Barista en het Einde Der Tijden (Videoland) and Downtown (BNN). They also wrote and directed the animated short film Red Fried District, which received high praise at many film festivals all over the world.
In 2021, he co-wrote the crime/comedy series Woensel West (Videoland), together with Paul de Vrijer.
In 2024, he wrote and directed his first feature film De Jackpot.
